Critical success factors for improving learning management systems diffusion in KSA HEIs: An ISM approach

Abstract Higher educational institutes (HEIs) are managing their resources by using learning management systems (LMS) which facilitate the processes. This paper aims to develop relationships among success factors typically found in technology, as well human and organisational aspects an interpretive structural modelling (ISM) approach for LMS diffusion HEIs Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). The possessing a higher driving power ISM need be prioritised many other dependent variables affected them. Success emerging with high dependence contribute facilitating implementation LMS. A key finding is that clearly defined information technology (IT) policies along appropriate infrastructure significant aspect implementation. Additionally, strengthening standardisation IT education resources, level computer skills, proper training programmes staff deliver knowledge users competencies Moreover, support top very factor improving To ensure successful implementation, KSA should focus on effective environments, activities, involvement increased interaction between pedagogy technology.
